April 2, 2010
10:00 AM service

Where: Nave

Details:

The Windish (Slovenian) immigrants first worshipped at
St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Bethlehem (at that time the German Lutheran Church) because most of them understood the language.

On Good Friday, St. Peter’s allowed the Windish to have a service in the Windish language. To commemorate that first service, St. John’s will celebrate a Windish Communion service on Good Friday morning at 10:00 AM.

Ethnic refreshments will be served following the service.
